Philadelphia is home to the Liberty Bell and to Benjamin
Franklin, as well as the site of the adoption of the Declaration of
Independence and of the writing of the Constitution. The Lights of
Liberty Tour is a sound and light show that re-tells American
Revolutionary history, bringing it to life. You can see how Uncle Sam
makes money at the U.S. Mint. Visit the Franklin Institute Science
Museum or the Museum of Fine Art. Only a short distance away are the
Valley Forge National Historical Park, the Gettysburg National Military
Park, and the National Civil War Museum. A little farther into central
Pennsylvania, you can visit the Pennsylvania Dutch region, also known as
“Amish Country,” where farm families live much as their ancestors did,
without electricity or modern conveniences. This area is also home to
