Flamingo Educational Tours and SYTA
(Student Youth Travel Association) Affiliation
Flamingo Educational Tours has a
proud association and membership in SYTA (Student Youth
Travel Association). SYTA is a non-profit professional
trade association whose mission is to promote and support integrity and
professionalism among student and youth travel service providers and to
promote quality student/youth travel services that enhance social,
cultural, and educational growth
Flamingo Educational Tours has met
membership criteria and adheres to all SYTA purposes,
goals and its Code of Ethics.
Additionally, Flamingo Educational Tours is very proud of its association as a SYTA Youth Foundation Benefactor (SYF). The SYF has established a scholarship or a financial assistance program, the SYF “Road” Scholarship program, to provide funding to young persons who are unable, for a variety of reasons, to afford the cost of their particular group’s student educational travel. Teachers and youth leaders may nominate a student for the SYF “Road” Scholarship; and thereupon candidates will be judged and selected based upon need, as evidenced by their completed application. The application form, once completed, is submitted to SYF. By its provision for these financial resources, SYF is able to effect a positive difference in the lives of deserving youth. To obtain an SYF “Road” Scholarship application, visit the SYTA website for application information – www.syta.org.
